About Ironbridge Roofing Co.
The Name
The Government Bridge has carried traffic between Davenport and Rock Island Arsenal since 1896. It swings open for barges, it has been rebuilt and reinforced across three centuries of use, and it is still working.
That is the standard we named ourselves after. Not the newest thing on the river. The one that is still there.
How We Work
A roofer looks at the roof, not a salesman. You get photographs of anything worth seeing and a written note on what it means. If the roof has fifteen years left, we will say fifteen years.
Estimates carry the deck repair rate per sheet before the job starts, so what is found under an old roof is arithmetic rather than an argument in the driveway. Nothing gets signed on the spot and nothing needs to be.
Why the Learning Center Exists
There are twenty two lessons on this site that give away everything a roofing company normally charges to explain, with no form, no download to unlock and no call to action at the end of any of them.
The reason is simple enough. A homeowner who understands a roof cannot be sold a bad one, by anybody, including us. That is a trade we are happy with, and Lesson 18 is a list of checks to run on us.
What We Are Not
We are not a national brand with a local phone number. We are not a crew that follows hailstorms across three states and leaves before the first winter tests the work.
You can find us in January, which is the month that tells you the most about a roofing company.
Start With the Free Roof Check
No sales call. A roofer looks at the roof and tells you what it needs.
